The STRIKER 4 makes finding fish much easier. Mark your spots, boat ramps and docks so you can easily return to them. You can also share your favorite waypoints and routes with other STRIKER and echoMAP™ combo devices. Smooth Scaling™ graphics offer an uninterrupted display when switching between depth bands. Sonar history storage allows you to browse back through your images and mark waypoints that you missed at any given time. The device also features an intermittent light and displays speed data. Included in the package is a swivel/tilt mount, a CHIRP sonar probe (77/200 kHz) and equipment for mounting on the aft wall or engine (with cable). If you need more powerful CHIRP technology, you can get the GT8 or GT15 sonar probe (each sold separately).

The STRIKER 4 sonar features the Garmin CHIRP (77/200 kHz) sonar, which offers a visibly higher level of clarity and detail when imaging fish and structures than traditional 77/200 kHz sonars.
CHIRP technology does not use just one frequency, but continuously sends a continuous stream of multiple frequencies from low to high and interprets them individually on return. As this system collects more data, CHIRP sonar technology can produce a clearer representation of fish with better target separation.
You can also upgrade to the more powerful Garmin CHIRP technology, which offers crystal clear sonar images with even better target separation and resolution from shallow to deep water. Bottom contours are more visible even when driving faster. Signal noise can also be suppressed at greater depths to better interpret what's down below. You'll enjoy fishing more.
Marking locations using highly sensitive GPS technology
Unlike traditional echo sounders, STRIKER devices are equipped with highly sensitive GPS technology that can quickly and accurately locate your current position and track GPS coordinates wherever your boat moves on the lake. This technology also allows you to mark where the fish are biting best so you can return there again later. You can also mark docks, boat ramps, and other important water surface locations. Then when you want to return to the desired spot, just follow the route marked on the screen.
Simple navigation with a map of waypoints
As STRIKER echo sounders are equipped with highly sensitive GPS technology, you can view your own position in relation to the marked waypoints. Using the waypoint map, you can conveniently view, mark and determine directions to locations such as docks or submerged logs or wood piles. It is also a great tool to help you find your way back to the boat ramp.
On-screen speed control
On the STRIKER sonar screen, you can quickly and easily view the speed at which your boat is travelling. This tool allows you to conveniently check whether you are sailing at the appropriate speed for the type of bait you are using and the type of fish you want to catch. It also allows you to better control whether you are sailing at the appropriate speed in restricted areas.
Vertical view thanks to integrated intermittent light
The STRIKER is equipped with an intermittent light in addition to the echo sounder. If you are fishing statically, for example on ice or vertical trolling, the integrated intermittent light helps you see the type of bottom (whether it is solid or muddy), the bait or lure and the column of fish swimming into the sonar beam. You can also see how high the bait is rising or falling and whether fish are swimming towards or away from it.
Versatile use
A portable kit is available that protects the STRIKER echo sounder with GPS technology and makes it easy to carry, for example, in a kayak or canoe or use for ice fishing. The case includes a waterproof rechargeable battery with smart charger, space to store the sonar cable and a suction mount and float.
