Display of submerged objects in front of the boat
- The addition of the FrontVü and LiveVü Forward probes - two of the most compelling displays of the totally unique and innovative Panoptix waterborne sonar
- FrontVü displays approaching submerged obstacles up to 91 metres (300 feet) away, helping you avoid collisions¹
- The LiveVü Forward Front Sounder offers the unique ability to monitor in real time fish or divers swimming in front of or under the boat up to 30 meters (100 feet) away
- Both probes work on floating and stationary ships
- The package includes a kit for mounting the sonar probe on the aft wall
When you're sailing at eight knots per hour in unfamiliar waters and an obstacle or sandbar suddenly appears in front of you, you're usually not too pleased. That's why we designed the Panoptix PS21-TM sonar with FrontVü to give you better situational awareness while you sail.¹ FrontVü will show you approaching obstacles, sandbars and other solid objects, giving you enough time to react and avoid collision or grounding. This is an excellent way to protect your boat and crew.
The Panoptix PS21-TM sonar also offers a LiveVü Forward front probe, which provides a unique real-time sonar image of the area under the surface ahead and below the boat at distances up to 30 meters (100 feet). You can track swimming fish. You also have visibility of the position of swimmers and divers, as the LiveVü Forward probe works even when the boat is stationary.
Easy to use with Garmin echoMAP™ CHIRP 7-inch and 9-inch chartplotter models, GPSMAP® 7400 Series, GPSMAP 8000/8500/8400 Glass Helm and GPSMAP 721/741/820/840/1020/1040 Series. A stern mount sonar kit is included.
FrontVü displays obstacles up to 91 metres away and helps avoid collisions.¹
LiveVü Forward displays fish and swimmers in real time up to 30 metres away.
¹When speeds rise above 8 knots, the ability of the FrontVü sonar to effectively avoid a head-on collision decreases.
