The Panoptix multibeam hull-mounted Panoptix sonar and the cutting-edge FrontVü head sonar help you avoid running aground¹ by displaying the bottom in front of your boat in real time on a chartplotter.

Panoptix FrontVü sonar displays the bottom up to 90 m (300 ft) ahead of the boat (8 to 10 times the current depth) and provides near-instantaneous feedback to give you more time to react. The Panoptix FrontVü system features a narrow beam front sonar (20 degrees) , making your navigation through unfamiliar waters more confident. You can focus on the bottom in front of your boat without being surprised by what's going on around you. It also includes an AHRS sensor for motion stabilization, so you can keep an eye on what's happening in front of your boat, even in rough waters. All FrontVü sonar image data can be easily shared with other chartplotters on the Garmin Marine Network.

The Panoptix PS51-TH system includes a standard (50.88 mm [2 inches]) stainless steel rack for over-hull mounting. It displays depth and temperature information and is compatible with all Garmin chartplotters for Panoptix products.
